After your morning breakfast, rise and meet up with your guide from Kampala and drive to Jinja approximately 50 kilometers from Kampala. Mabira forest is the only central rain forest of Uganda. It was once known to be the biggest rain forest in Uganda and offer various activities that you will be enjoying during this adventure.

One of the popular activities in Mabira is Zip-lining which is a one-of-a-kind adventure that you may enjoy during your Uganda safari. Zip lining is primarily done in two sessions in the morning and in the afternoon. Upon your arrival at Griffin Falls Camp, you will take a walk depart into the forest to begin your 3- to 4-hour zip-lining excursion with your expert zip-lining guide. The zip lining adventure still serves as a nature walk as you enjoy right views of the surrounding. The zip lining wire spans 250 metres across the gorgeous River Musamya.

A zip line in Mabira also offers a forest canopy walk that allows you to view a variety of mammal species such as red-tailed monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, bird species such as that great blue turacos, African fish eagles, sooty flycatchers, blue breasted kingfishers, dwarf kingfishers, olive bellied sunbirds, red bellied paradise flycatchers, palm nut vultures, and the scenic and roaring griffin falls.
